Features of desulfurization pump

Desulfurization pump is a kind of general industrial equipment transporting corrosive liquids. Do you know the features of desulfurization pump? Now, let’s study its characteristics together.

1.Excellent abrasion resistance: all the flow passage componentsof the pump are made from UHMW-PE. The abrasion resistance of UHMW-PE ranks first in plastic material, which is 4 times higher than PA66 and PTFE, and 7-10 times that of carbon steel and stainless steel.

2.Excellent impactresistance: the impact resistance of UHMW-PE ranks first among general engineering plastics, which is 5 times that of ABS copolymer, and can remain stable at minus 196 ℃. No other plastic has this characteristic.

3.Excellent corrosion resistance: the pump can withstand the corrosion of corrosive (acid, alkali, salt) medium and organic solvents within a certain temperature and concentration range. It can be soaked in 80 kinds of organic solvents at 20℃ and 90℃ for 30 days. There were no outward anomalies and little change in physical properties.

4.No noise: UHMW-PE has a good ability of absorbing impact energy and erasing sound, which can greatly reduce the noise generated by the flow of liquids during the transportation.

5.Reliable operation without decomposition of toxin: the chemical properties of UHMW-PE used in this pump  are extremely stable, whichis also suitable for food industry.

6.Lowcoefficient of friction: the friction coefficient of the internal pump is only 0.07-0.11, so the pump has self-lubricating properties. When the pump is water-lubricated, its kinetic friction coefficient is half that of PA66 and polyoxymethylene (POM). When operating in a sliding or rotating mode, the lubricity inside the pump is better than steel and brass that lubricated by lubricating oil.

7.Excellent stickiness resistance:UHMW-PE has excellent anti-sticking properties, which is equivalent to PTFE. Thus, our pump also can operate well when conveying the medium with higher viscosity.
