Disassemble Steps of the pump

We all know that there are many kinds of industrial equipment according to different needs, and ceramic pump is not an exception. Do you know how to dismantle the ceramic pump? And what are the steps of disassembly? Let’s take a look:

1. Disassemble all the pipes connected with the pump.

2. Disconnect the connecting bolt on the coupling; remove the pump from the base and move it to a suitable disassembly site.

3. Remove the spindle coupling on the pump.

4. Remove the bearing covers at both ends of the pump, and then loosen the round nuts and sleeve nuts that press the bearings at both ends of the shaft.

5. Use bolts to pull out the bearing sleeve on the bearing pedestal together with the bearing. Do not hit with a hammer at this time.

6. Loosen the bolts connecting the bearing pedestal and the side cover, and unload the bearing pedestals at both ends.

7. Disassemble the parts at the shaft seal. (If you only need to overhaul or replace the shaft seal, there is no need to continue dismantling.)

8. Loosen the connection bolts between the side cover and the pump body. Please pay attention to that it should be released evenly and diagonally. The disassembly auxiliary holes on the side cover should be used to push out the side covers at both ends. At this time, use the eye bolts to carefully move out the side cover.

9. Loosen the three screws on the distributor ring and separate the distributor ring by the disassembly eye bolts on the distributor ring.

10. After the above work is completed, the shaft together with the impeller can be taken out from the pump body.

11. Loosen the round nut and take out the axle sleeve. At this time, the impeller can be separated from the shaft. In the process of disassembly, all the beds should be carefully removed. For the beds that have deteriorated, they should be replaced with the same thickness and the same material during assembly.

The assembly order of the pump is opposite to the disassembly order.
