Ceramic pump is a device commonly used in the industry. What causes the temperature of ceramic pumps to be too high after long-term use? Let’s talk about the reasons for the high temperature and how to deal with it.

Causes of excess temperature of ceramic pump:

1.If the motor power is too high and the working current is too large, the temperature of the acid-resisting ceramic vacuum pump will increase.

2.The quantity of fan blades is insufficient. The air volume is not enough, which leads to the excess temperature of ceramic pump.

3.The fan is at low speed; the wind pressure and wind force are insufficient.

4.The busbar voltage of the acid-resisting ceramic vacuum pump motor is 380V. Due to the cable voltage drop and uneven loading distribution, the actual voltage of the motor is only 365V. The low voltage results in heavy running current.

5.There is too much dust in the motor. Oil stains is also one of the factors that cause the high temperature of the acid-resisting ceramic vacuum pump.

 

The solutions for the excess temperature of ceramic vacuum pump:

1.Due to the high speed of axial flow fan and large air pressure and volume, the cooling effect was greatly enhanced. Under the same ambient temperature and loading current, the temperature of the main motor of acid-resisting ceramic vacuum pump decreased by 12℃. In summer, the temperature of the main motor will not exceeded the limit.

2.The axial flow fan can be controlled manually. After the main motor shut down, the axial flow fan can still run, which can fully cool the main motor.

3.After adjusting the voltage, the running current of the diaphragm pump is reduced to 210A, and the heat productivity is relatively reduced.

4.Try to balance the loading distribution of the 2 lengths of busbars to prevent the voltage of the any length of busbar from dropping too much due to overload.
