The single-stage double-suction axially split centrifugal pump is suitable for conveying all kinds of clean liquid or neutral or slightly corrosive liquid with trace particles. The suction port and discharge port of the single-stage double-suction axially split centrifugal pump are below the axis of the pump, whose horizontal direction is perpendicular to the axis. The pump casing is opened in the middle, and there is no need to disassemble the inlet pipe, outlet pipe and motor (or other prime movers). From the coupling to see the pump, the water pump rotates counterclockwise. According to the special needs of the user, it can also rotate clockwise.

 

The main parts of single-stage double-suction axially split centrifugal pump are: pump body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, double-suction sealing ring, shaft sleeve, bearing, etc. Except that the shaft material is high-quality carbon steel, the rest are mostly cast iron. The pump body and pump cover of the single-stage double-suction centrifugal pump constitute the working room of the impeller. On the inlet and outlet flange, there are tube screw holes installed with vacuum gauge and pressure gauge. There are pipe screw holes for water discharge under the inlet and outlet flanges. After the static balance check, the impeller is fixed with axle sleeve and axle sleeve nuts on both sides, and its axial position can be adjusted by axle sleeve nuts. The axial force of the impeller is balanced by the symmetrical arrangement of its blades. There may be some remaining axial force that is borne by the bearings at the same coaxial end.

 

The pump shaft is supported by two single-row radial ball bearings. The bearing is installed in the bearing body on the both ends of the pump body and lubricated with butter. The double suction sealing ring is used to reduce the water leakage back to the suction chamber.

The water pump is directly driven by the motor through the coupling.

 

The shaft seal of the pump is using soft packing seal. In order to cool and lubricate the seal cavity and prevent air leakage into the pump, there is a water sealing ring between the packing. When the pump is working, a small amount of high-pressure water flows into the packing chamber through the water sealing pipe to play the role of water sealing.
